In fact, when he died he specifically left messages saying that those notes were not to be published for 100 years.
The result may be a little difficult to plough through, but they show some rare insights into the mind of Mark Twain, just like sitting in the same room as him listening to him.

Great book ideas. Even for women!
Great list and great ideas for gifts for men. I'm currently reading Koontz's What The Night Knows and it is incredible and disturbing (the villian is disturbing). I would take the George Bush title off the list though, I would never read that and I didn't and don't like him! I saw part of the interview he did on Oprah last year and he lied about things regarding 9/11. Also, I would remove the Glenn Beck book as he is just offensive. I realize you were picking provocative titles but those two are not worth the time.
Thanks for this list it has given me some ideas for new books to purchase, I have to admit that would of probably just walk past these book in the store but after reading this I defiantly think I shall pick up 'Full Dark, No Stars'.
Great list
Great hub! You reminded me that I have to read "Full Dark..." Somehow I overlooked it when it was published... I think it was around the time of my final exams :-) Walter Isaacson's book about Steve is simply brilliant... Although it's too bad that the publisher wanted to get the most out of Steve's departure and didn't want to wait a couple of more months to add a few chapters that would put the end to Steve's life story in the best way... This version seems unfinished because the crucial part is missing... Voted up!
